The gate times change according to the seasons and are the same for all of the camps. It’s good to take note of the camp gate times because you can quickly lose track of time when on a self-drive safari.

For guests enjoying a self-drive safari, the earlier you go out in the morning, the better. You will see far more in the early morning and the late afternoon than you are likely to see at any other time in the day. Animals avoid the midday heat by hiding and so you won’t see much when the day is at its warmest
